DIAGNOSTIC · 2 MINUTES

Two-minute solar diagnostic

Six short questions about the house, the utility, and the current bill. The output is a one-installer match for the service area, not a queue of seven companies racing to call first. Summit does not auto-dial, does not resell the contact information, and does not enroll the address in a marketing rotation.

What we’ll ask

  1. Property address. Used to identify the utility (ComEd or Ameren), pull the roof outline, and check the current state and federal incentives that apply to the location.
  2. A recent electric bill: monthly kilowatt-hours, the rate plan, and an estimate of the seasonal swing. The bill is the single most important input into whether solar pencils for the house.
  3. Homeownership status and rough timeline. If the household plans to move within four years, or is renting, the quiz will say so directly rather than route to a quote that does not make sense.
  4. Roof and shade context. Roof age, predominant roof direction, and any heavy tree shade are flagged so the matched installer can size the system honestly.
